Between 3 and 5 minutes of life we will never get back.
And I thought we had more sophisticated means of transportation. Obviously I was wrong. The train tracks just beyond our apartment complex are well used and it doesn't seem to matter when either of us leave for the freeway; we are stuck waiting for the train to pass.

Stay here long enough & you'll realize why the train track issue has become a political issue on who is/is not in favor of creating overpasses (such as the one at Imperial) so that you're NOT spending those 3-5 minutes daily. I know its crazy, been dealing with it my whole life. I wonder how many minutes that adds up to?
