As most of you know, Mark has been working for the Mouse as a "TSA"-a program Disney has to train their Management teams. You enter in as a "trainee" in a temporary position and then depending on your performance, you are hired on as a full time employee, or your internship ends and you are not offered a position.
We've been really lucky this past year and bit as Mark's internship has been extended, even through all the layoffs. About a week ago we got great news! After a series of events in the hotel departments, some positions were opened up and some shifting was done. Mark has "gone blue" as they say (been officially hired) with a promotion, and the hope of better hours. We couldn't be more exited. The timing was perfect! We are so blessed. So I guess we won't be moving for now.

I am so happy for you guys. When Mark told me I was so giddy! Congrats. We want to come visit you guys sometime after the summer ends. September maybe?!
Please believe me when I tell you we were praying for things to go well for you (we didn't actually favour Disney over scrapbooking in said prayers) but so glad things have worked out for the best. I will admit that Buddy is slightly more excited about the Mouse than we was fancy scissors, but we'd love to visit you either way :) Glad things are good!
Kaylinn, I know I am really late in saying this, I am so sorry about your dad. I had no idea. I was just catching up on your blog and found out the news. :( My prayers are with you and your family.
That's great! We are so happy for you. I'm sure it's nice to have some job stability these days!
