It has taken me significantly longer to finish our annual yearbook. I use to pride myself in really focusing and getting things done early in the year so I can enjoy my books all year long. Sadly, this year, that DID NOT happen. But, despite all the distractions and neglect - my book has been finished and is sent to the publisher for printing. I am so thrilled and really can't wait to have it in my hands and displayed in my home.

Catch up - Photo Dump
I know it's been ages, and I said I would blog 6 times a month. But, then life happened and that theory changed a bit. And - truthfully, I've been writing letters to my missionary mom every week with photos and "journaling" thoughts so the time it takes to write her AND write this just is too much.
So - to those 3 people who are curious about what we look like these days...here is a quick recap of March.
We went to Temple Square since the weather has been fabulous. Cameron loves the Statue of Jesus and the stairs on the temple. It's always a good walk and I love being outside when the weather is so beautiful.
Mark got us tickets to see Disney on Ice. This is our 3rd show (spoiled I know) and we were prepared to have to leave at half time. Cameron doesn't really last that long, and quite frankly, I've never been too impressed with the second half. So - we enjoyed the first bit and then skipped out. The blessing of free tickets.
We took Cameron bowling for his first time ever. Only played one game, which turned out to be perfect. Why is bowling so expensive?
I had a goal to have a "planned and meaningful" Family Home Evening every Monday in the month of March. Check! One week we learned about Esther and her courage. I found some cookies called "Haman Hats" which are apparently still made in cultures who celebrate Esther in a holiday. Mom win!
We celebrated St. Patricks day in style and had extra fun making a "holiday box" for my good friend. Thank you Pinterest for your darling idea that I was able to execute so perfectly.
My good friend Courtney was married to her love in Las Vegas. That was a fun trip and a good time to see her again after 6 years. Some relationships are just easy regardless of how much time and distance separate you.
I took Cameron to the Tracy Aviary to see the birds. We fed some swans and saw a Peacock just roaming feeling which was fun. It was a little chilly outside so we didn't stay long. But it made for a good day out.
The ward had their Easter Celebration which was just a good old fashioned, family friendly time.
Cameron has been really into cooking and so we have made several batches of cookies and cakes and such. Mostly for fun, not so much to eat. This particular batch, Cameron was left unattended long enough to put who knows how many cups of sugar into the mixing bowl. Needless to say, they didn't turn out.
We're still enjoying a little "Tot School". although it isn't consistent or professional, we have a good time. Cameron loves to learn and I love to plan out fun learning games. Win-win. He'll start Joy School officially next year so I'm really excited about that. I don't have much experience, but I've heard stories so I think it'll be fun for him.
And there you go...Happy Day. :)
